The same doctor who had the chance to require a pregnancy test earlier but didn't make clear it was non-optional until it was too late? He also talked over me when saying "reason for procedure" - He said "reason for procedure, contraception," and I said "No, to control my periods," and he said "Oh no, it's for contraception." WTF? Contraception is for people who are well enough to have sex lives, sunshine. Take your pregnancy test and shove it.

Contraception may rate higher (fundable) in NHS stats than hideous hormone fail but that's not an excuse for talking over you and surely doctorkins could EXPLAIN that to you as a y'know adult woman.
I wish hormonal problems and failperiods were taken way more seriously than they are now. Mine are bad enough and they're no where near as hideous as yours.
I am considering the coil myself although procrastinating as I have 3 other more urgent medical nonsenses to faff with (hands in progress, hips TODO, eyes in progress) and really CBA.
(Poor you).
